Our Taj Mahal
Dad got a sturdy workbench to provide storage over our crates. The legs are made from 4"x4" steel and the top is made from 1.3/4" solid maple. Since, the bench weighs 150 lbs and is said to be able to support 20,000 lbs, it will likely provide us some earthquake protection too!
The Vizsla is not a pet but a lifestyle. They are physically and emotionally active dogs. They need to get outside with you and they need to be inside with you. They are supreme athletes and supreme snugglers. Given proper exercise and interaction, they can be amazing companions. They are pleasers so they can be trained with relative ease. They are also very sensitive so they can be ruined by a heavy hand. A new Vizsla owner should be willing to commit to daily walks/hikes/hugs/kisses mixed with a lot of positive training/socialization. Boredom and fear are the primary enemies of the Vizsla. They need to be worked mentally and physically with exercise and socialization.
